Creating A Mini Site
Here’s an idea… Why not create a website that you can earn a few bucks from daily which needs no major maintenance when set up? Well then the solution is creating yourself a mini site! It is kind of like automated daily cash when it is setup and receiving hits daily.
I will explain in simple steps the way to create a mini site, you will have no excuse to not do it yourself once you have finished reading this article!
Creating Your Mini Site
Your initial design for the mini site should be simple. If possible you should make it themed such as images in your banner that relate to your websites niche.
If you are not skilled enough or do not have the time to create a website then you may prefer to use a free template which can be found at Free CSS Templates, Solucija or Template Yes.
Generating Content
The best way to generate content quickly is to search through article submission websites such as Digg, Wikipedia, Article City or Find Articles.
When you have gathered enough information on your desired subject then you are ready to put it in to your own words and break it up into separate pages.
Hosting Your Mini Site
Once your website is ready to go live, you will need to get yourself some web hosting and preferably a domain. There are plenty of free hosts available such as Cheap Web Hosting Site, StormLoader or Doteasy . Or if you fancy better quality hosting then you could pay out a few dollars a months for professional web hosting, i strongly suggest HostGator.
As for a domain name I would suggest using either GoDaddy or NameCheap to registar it and don’t forget to search the web for promotional codes for each of the websites as some domain registrars have money off coupons available.
Getting Your Mini Site To Pay Off
There are three types of advertising networks I am going to suggest using on your mini site.
The first is Google AdSense which is mainly used to display advertising banners which are highly customizable in size and color to blend into your website.
The second suggestion I will make is using Amazon Associates which is best used if your website is related to books, music, movies or electronics as you can display adverts which contain specific products on your page which when clicked and a sale is generated through your mini site, you are paid a percentage of what Amazon make.
The final suggestion I will make is using an affiliate network such as AzoogleAds or ClickBank . These affiliate networks have various types of offers and products that your visitors may be interested in. If you find one that suits your mini sites topic then it would be wise to use an affiliate offer/banner on there as this type of advertisement usually has a higher payout than Google AdSense or Amazon Affiliates.
Generating Traffic
Your mini site isn’t going to go far if it hasn’t got traffic is it? So here are a few ideas to get you started receiving daily hits to your mini sites.
Firstly submit your articles or articles related to your mini sites topic to article submission sites such as Digg, Ezine Articles, Article Hut and Submit YOUR Article. Remember to include your mini sites URL in the article so that you are fulfilling the purpose of getting traffic.
Secondly you should start exchanging links with other websites in order to generate back links which will lead to you getting search engine traffic and direct traffic from the websites you exchange with.
A good place to start getting back links would be submitting your websites to as many web directories as you can find. The best method in my opinion though is to exchange links with websites that are based on the same topic as yours, this can usually be done by emailing the website administrator and asking for a link exchange between your website and their website.
So that’s the end of the mini site article, let me know if you give it a go and how you get on by posting on my online money making forum - www.powelly.com
